This keyguard fits the classic Smith-Corona Coronet Super 12 electric typewriter.  We all had one back in the day.  It was also re-branded by large retailers of the time, like Montgomery Ward.  You can still buy one on Amazon!  

The keyguard is available in different materials.  The keyguard is attached to the typewriter with Dual Lock™ recloseable fasteners (included).  

Material - The default material is 3/16" clear acrylic, but because the key caps have different heights, some of them will not be very deep in the holes, and a few of the odd ones like the backspace key will actually poke through.  If you need a thinner keyguard, you can choose 1/8" acrylic styrene, but it makes for even shallower key openings, and most of the keys will be very close to the top of the opening.  We'd recommend one of the 1/4' materials which leave deeper key openings and give you lots of choices for color.  Personalize your classic keyguard with an unfinished wood for an old-world or executive look.
